High School Season

Below you will find details of how the high school program is run and how you can participate.

To participate in the HS season:

• Attend PAC (parent/ athlete/ coach) meeting
• Officially Register with MHS Activities
• Complete a second simple registration & Pay Booster Fees on GLAX website
• Tryout
• Sign up to Volunteer
• Optional orders with separate fee collection:
• Superfan Apparel (new design every year)
• Player Pack team practice & game day apparel & other fan apparel offerings
• Yard Signs
• Standing sandwich order for away games
• End of Season Banquet

Registration is required for the spring HS season and is done through Minnetonka High School Activities. Registration is required to attend tryouts.

*Sports Physicals: Players must have a current sports physical dated within three years on file with the Activities Office in order to complete registration and to tryout. Check your player's SSO/Skyward, under “Health Information”, then choose “Physical” to see what date is on file for your student. No date showing means there is no physical on file for your student.

Booster fees are due for each player at the beginning of each season.

2025:

$200 Check made out to: MHS Girls Lacrosse Booster Club (player name in the memo). Checks should be given at the PAC meeting. However, if mailing send checks to current treasurer:

New in 2026, booster fees will be collected online through an additional short registration process for the season (additional to the MHS official registration). This will allow us to "roster" your player to the correct team so players/ families will have access to all communications, calendars, and other Crossbar app functions specific to your team.

You must be registered with MHS Activities in order to attend tryouts.

Players who want varsity consideration must attend all three days of tryouts. Tryout dates are published at the end of the previous season so families have time to plan around spring break.

Announced at 2025 PAC meeting: players who want JV consideration must attend 2 of 3 days of tryouts with the appropriate advance communication with varsity head coach.

• Mon 3/31 @ Dome: Skills focused, small scale drills in small gps
• Tues 4/1 @ Upper South Field: Skills and scrimmage drills
• Weds 4/2 @ Upper South Field: Full-field scrimmages in different teams; Team placements communicated by 9:30 pm
• Thurs (4/3) & Fri (4/4): Opportunity to meet with coaches if desired

Every player family is required to sign up for at least one volunteer item during the official HS season. The Booster Board may solicit families for more help if needed.

Directions to view / feed the calendar (these steps will be easiest once booster dues registration have been completed):

• Login to the mhsgirlslax.org website
• Select FAMILY CALENDAR at the very top
• Select CALENDAR FEED black oval on the right
• Select your player name or "all family" to gather the desired feed
• Copy the link from your desired calendar platform to import the calendar

PRACTICES

Because there can be changes to fields often weekly, the practice times are generally set for the season, but coaches will be updating the practice schedule to the calendar on a weekly basis.

GAME SCHEDULE ONLY - the most updated game information is always found on the Lake Conference websites - these can also be imported in a feed via links at the top right of the schedule. There may be a delay in updating the Crossbar calendars when changes are made on the Lake Conference website.
