
CAPTAINS' PRACTICES
GENERAL INFORMATION
Captains' Practices run late August through mid-March and are open to all 9th–12th grade students interested in girls lacrosse at Minnetonka. Whether you're new to the sport or a returning player, these sessions are a great way to stay active and engaged.
- Practice plans are created in collaboration with coaches and team captains, and led by captains and guest instructors.
- Strength and speed training may be incorporated throughout the season.
- Practice locations vary depending on the season and facility availability:
- Fall – Badger Park
- Winter – Minnetonka High School Dome
- Spring – Hopkins Pavilion
GOALS
- Build connection and momentum before the spring season kicks off. Captains' Practices are designed to welcome new and returning players, create a sense of team, and strengthen our lacrosse community.
- Sharpen skills and build confidence with consistent touches and high-energy sessions that help every player start the season strong.
HOW TO PARTICPATE
- No registration or cost to join.
- Make sure you're signed up for Minnetonka Girls Lacrosse communications to receive practice schedules and updates as they roll out.

Captains' Practices
Captains' practices are not mandatory and there is no registration in order to attend. Players may come and go as they are able. It is understood that players may play club lacrosse or have other sports that prohibit them from attending Captains'. Always reach out to the the captains themselves with any questions or if rides are needed.
